Cover picture: PbCTRP, an adhesive proteinlike molecule of the rodent malaria parasite Plasmodium berghei, is essential for its infection of the mosquito vector. Giemsa staining shows mosquito midgut-invasive stage parasites (ookinetes) cultured in vitro.
