Cover picture: Monoclonal antibody anti-4C8 blocks transendothelial migration of T cells at the intercellular borders of HUVECs. Human T cells were cocultured with a HUVEC monolayer under conditions that would normally promote transendothelial migration of T cells. Inclusion of anti-4C8 selectively blocks the transmigration step. The result, shown by scanning electron microscopy, is that T cells adhere firmly to
the monolayer surface, flatten on it, and extend pseudopods into the junctions, but are unable to migrate further. See related article in this issue
